Mount Gambier Catholic Parish
“They devoted themselves to the teaching of the apostles, to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers." Acts 2:42
Welcome to the Mount Gambier Catholic Parish in the Limestone Coast region of South Australia, serving the communities of Mount Gambier and Port MacDonnell.
St Paul’s Catholic Church was built in the late 1800s, and is located on Penola Road in the heart of Mount Gambier.
St Augustine’s Church is our parish church in the town of Port MacDonnell.
Mount Gambier Parish is proud of its connection with the parishes of Millicent, Penola, Naracoorte and Bordertown, which make up the South East Deanery.
Archbishop O'Regan has asked to be consulted about the practical implications of a decision to unite Mt Gambier and Millicent Parishes. To read the Archbishop's letter, click here.
You can leave you online feedback for the Archbishop here.
The Millicent Parish AGM will be held at 2:30pm on Saturday 23 March in the Millicent Parish Hall.
A public forum will be held at 2:30pm on Sunday 24 March in the Mt Gambier Parish Hall.
